Sounds like a rubbish product if it doesn't clean up after itself. FWIW
server 2008 doesn't suffer from the same paged pool limits as 2003, if I
remember right.

Kaspersky is uninstalled, this is an old c:\windows\system32\drivers
file Kaspersky can't automatically remove. There suggestion is to delete
the file and reboot. That should work, I am always cautious with servers
and blue screening them on reboot.

Once bitten twice shy :o)

Uninstall or upgrade Kaspersky? Upgrade the server?

Subject: system paged pool empty

We started getting event ID error 2020 on a Windows 2003 SP2 server a
few days ago. When I look at poolmon I see and old Kapersky .sys file
38402121.sys file taking up almost 300 mb of paged pool memory. Other
than renaming it and rebooting, does anyone know of any different
options? I am concerned with blue screening it. The server is a DC main
F/P, DNS, etc...
