Thanks for the suggestions. The problem intensifying so I had to chance it and
rename the file with a reboot. It cleared up the error in the paged memory. The
only thing I could find after a reboot was service is-6QBN2drv did not load
which shows as a legacy driver, not entirely sure if it is related or not.

We have Vipre on the server. The Kaspersky was left over from a couple of years
ago. I guess we had finally hit a paged memory threshold which spiked the
occurrence.

Some wild ideas not knowing anything about Kaspersky or how it does things.

How about "fltmc unload 38402121" perhaps? Or maybe "sc stop 38402121" I'd
probably do this during a maintenance window. If successful, you could then
try something like "sc config 38402121 start= disabled" or renaming the file
before rebooting.

We started getting event ID error 2020 on a Windows 2003 SP2 server a

38402121.sys file taking up almost 300 mb of paged pool memory. Other than
renaming it and rebooting, does anyone know of any different options? I am
concerned with blue screening it. The server is a DC main F/P, DNS, etc…
