I'm curious: What's liberating? I don't have a Windows phone to play with, so I can't reference. I am still using an old iPhone 3GS (which does me just fine) and I have an HP Touchpad with Cyanogoenmod 8 on it, so I have experience with iOS 6 and ICS.
