HP sell a good quality washable keyboard and mouse. I've got one in use in an area that has a mixture of dirt, steam etc and it has worked well so far.

That's not a dig on the hardware or the performance. 2 biggest things I don't like about this particular set: - No indicator lights for (Caps, Num Lock), I now realize this is common for wireless keyboards. - The mouse doesn't have a scroll wheel, but uses a sensor to serve the same function. Works, but not very well. Really miss the scroll wheel. So I can't say I recommend this. Already looking to replace, probably with a Logitech MK710 set (gives me both features). Not washable, but I can live with that.
