Hi All

I've seen that one too and it is required for SP1 to install. Fortunately the standalone installer will not need it as it will be included but otherwise you may have problems.

Regards,

Paul Lemonidis.

Haven't seen that...however, I have seen one optional Vista update that
wants to install again and again. It says it installed successfully, but
then Windows Update client keeps asking to install it.

Subject: Patch Tuesday woes?

So far it seems that one of the patches release yesterday is causing
svchost.exe to take up to 10 minutes when booting (I've seen it on about
15 computers so far). I remember seeing this on WSUS 2.0 and there was a
patch and fix (Wsus 3.0 + client patch) for it last year. Has anyone
else seen this today?
