Just installed SP1 to a vista laptop hoping it would fix my in-ability to connect to our Wireless LAN.
No go. Anyway, I found out why but don't know where to fix the info. The AP's are set to not broadcast the SSID. The Wireless policy is configured via group policy. There is now a setting on the wireless connection properties that says, Connect even if the network is not broadcasting. The box is grayed out as it should be since the connection is controlled via GPO. Where in the GPO can I change that setting? Also, thanks to the list for providing the instructions to get SP1 vai WU.
