Err, Apache on Windows with IIS. :-P I first did it maybe 2 years ago without any problems other than a learning curve. It was a great experience that helped make dealing with most web hosts a lot easier.
I was surprised to see port25 put up this "primer" on doing it. But I guess why not: Someone else already laid down the ground work for doing it a long time ago.
