My personal opinion is that the best book available is "Windows PowerShell
In Action" by Bruce Payette.

Bruce is one of the architects of the language.

IMNSHO. YMMV.

Subject: Recommendation for book on PowerShell?

I'm looking for a good book on PowerShell, one that will give a good
overview of this scripting environment and a good index of the routines that
can be invoked to do stuff. My focus is on management/monitoring of remote
servers. Don't need tutorial on programming theory; concise is good.

Appreciate any suggestions.
