Basically the two well read books on Powershell are Bruce's that Michael recommended and Powershell TFM by Don Jones and Jeffery Hicks. I like TFM because it isn't from a coder/developer standpoint and it has tons of examples to poke through. That being said, both are a worth-while investment. -troy From: Michael B. My personal opinion is that the best book available is "Windows PowerShell In Action" by Bruce Payette. Bruce is one of the architects of the language. IMNSHO. YMMV. Regards, Michael B. I'm looking for a good book on PowerShell, one that will give a good overview of this scripting environment and a good index of the routines that can be invoked to do stuff. My focus is on management/monitoring of remote servers. Don't need tutorial on programming theory; concise is good. Appreciate any suggestions.
