Been awhile since I done this... any reason this shouldn't work? I have an HP ML350 G3 server (about 3-4 years ago) that is acting up. I think it's hardware related. I have an unused (retired) HP ML350 G3 server laying around. I'd like to take the (2) physical hard drives from the problematic server (configured as RAID1) and install them in the unused retired server.
I'm thinking the second server should recongnize a RAID1 configuration on the drive and boot up without a problem. Any problems with this theory?
