I think Ben Z has been playing with the 2.0 beta version for awhile now.

Exactly what Ken said! You can only use 'either' workstation or server
on your machine at one time. So you need to choose uninstall Workstation
if you don't want it. Bare in mind not all the "workstation created"
machine will boot in "server" and vice versa (at least not in my use)

I have Server on my workstation and workstation on my laptop, because i
like multiple snapshots. I host anything from exchange 2007-moss 2007 on
VMware server.

anyone had a tinker with the VMware server 2.0 beta? any differences
worth my time?

Greg

When I try to install Server it tells me that Workstation is installed
and I need to uninstall it before continuing.
