Have you tried a MSIZAP on the product,
Msizap tw! {F58317D620CA5BF46B8AE44BFB678E49}
Then do a fresh install of WSUS 3.0

Hi folks
At a customer site another service provider was able to "break" WSUS
(version 3). As nothing was running anymore, customer decided to
uninstall WSUS. Since, there is no way to reinstall WSUS on this server.
We always get error messages like:
2008-03-20 15:34:08 Error MWUSSetup ParseCommandLine:
Failed to read InstallType registry value (Error 0x80070002: The system
cannot find the file specified.)
2008-03-20 15:36:28 Error MWUSSetup DoInstall:
ParseCommandLine failed (Error 0x80041453)
2008-03-20 15:36:48 Error MWUSSetup ParseCommandLine:
Failed to read InstallType registry value (Error 0x80070002: The system
cannot find the file specified.)
Any idea how to solve this issue?
