I added the ADM files to one of the GP governing the systems. It seems to
be working fine now. Thanks for the advice.

Personally I would prefer to do this via an ADM if possible. You can model
the net effect of GPOs via tools like GPMC. Settings that are buried in
logon scripts can't be.

You can do this in a logon script, all users can write to HKCU.

You can also put this in a group policy logon script.

I hadn't looked at those. I will take a look and see if I can find one that
works.

There aren't any Office 2007 ADM files from Microsoft that you can load to
do this for you?

Just about everything in Office 2003 was controllable via the additional ADM
files you could download from the Microsoft website.

I need to add a series of keys to HKey_Current_User/Software for all users.
Can I set that in Group Policy somewhere?

Basically what I need to do is:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted
Locations]

"AllowNetworkLocations"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted
Locations\Location0]

"Date"="3/31/2008 11:28 AM"

"Description"=""

"Path"="\\\\alliant01\\public\\access\\2000\\app"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted
Locations\Location2]

"Path"="C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\Office12\\ACCWIZ\\"

"Description"="Access default location: Wizard Databases"

I've tried setting this up through the Office 2007 Customization Tool, but
it doesn't seem to want to work for the Office Standard settings, and so I
have to run a reg file to go with it. Thing is, if you log onto that PC as
someone other than the person that ran the installer it doesn't apply. I'd
like it to apply to everyone.
