They got the AC running last night so we are back in business this morning.
Since I am preparing my budget for the next fiscal year, you can guess what
I will be putting in my budget that I wasn't thinking about when I left work
on Monday evening ;-)

We are two hours from the end of the day and I dont think anyone was
really working, its too darn hot! I shut down the critical heat generating
boxes, the proliants. If the AC guy cant fix the problem then tomorrow I
will buy one of those units. We actually have one but it is used to keep
some meds at a certain temp, probably very expensive stuff (the meds). I
think I will stop by home depot tonight and see what they have. Also the
botherinlaw works for Hertz equipment so I'm going to hit him up in a bit.

Do you have any fans you can put in the server room at least to get air
moving? Also, pop a couple of ceiling tiles to let the heat rise. I've
had to rent a portable A\C unit that blows into the ceiling grid. Is

Our AC has been down all day and are servers and equipment are pretty
toasty feeling. Would you guys shut yours down? Doing so would cause

company to be serverly impacted, but they would be more impacted if

of them meltdown.
