I have been trying to research exactly what the problem was with service pack 3. I know the press states that the Microsoft Retail Package breaks with the service pack, but what exactly is/was the problem. I found one reference somewhere that the problem was with SQL and querying multiple tables. If this is truly the problem, fixing the Microsoft Retail Package will not fix the underlaying problem. I use SQL quite a lot and query multiple tables quite often. Does anyone have a reference (URL) to the underlaying problem with the Windows XP SP3 issue? Thanks, -Steven Nelligan
