Hi Oilver, Look into "software asset management" or SAM, it even has an ISO standard 19770-1 Look at the white papers at www.managesoft.com and www.expressmetrix.com That should give you a good starting point. Even if you don't get any of these tools you at least have an idea about the process and the scope of the work to be done.
