Help, Help, I'm stumped and can't find the answer to this reading the docs on MS.
We have a Server 08 machine that was set up with a Server 08 KMS key. So far, it is activated and life is good. Now we want to set up a lab of Vista Business machines and use Vista KMS for activation. Actually 2 labs so we have about 50 machines so we meet the 25 minimum. Can I add the vista KMS key to the server 08 machine or do I have to set up a Vista machine as the KMS server for the vista clients. I tried adding the vista KMS key to the server 08 machine and got the following error. The software licensing service reported that the license is not installed.
