I SEEM to remember having trouble either with long file names, unc paths, or the double-quotes when I was setting up my test backup scripts and it doing something just like that-try changing one of those (sorry, can't remember which it was). Here is an example of what I run-this one is for Fridays:
c:\scripts\printmig.exe -b D:\Backups\Printbak\FriPrn.cab -i -Bonnie From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 21, 2008 7:47 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: PrintMig question I'm trying to automate using PrintMig 3.1 to save my printer definitions to a file, and then copy said file to my server. So I try this: PrintMig.EXE -b "2008-07-21-ADMNPRN002-PrinterDefinitions.CAB" thinking that I'll get a CAB file named "2008-07-21-ADMNPRN002-PrinterDefinitions.CAB". But apparently not .. I get absolutely nothing in the directory where PrintMig is. In fact, I get no CAB file anywhere on the filesystem. Yet I see PrintMig looking like it is writing out it's definitions *somewhere*. So, 2 question: 1. What am I doing wrong here? From the meager docs, this looks like it should work to save the printer defs to a specifically named file. 2. Any way to make PrintMig run in a quiet mode? So that it just executes silently?
