If you are trying to automatically authenticate your users when they log
in to the portal on the ASA then you would use LDAP.  This was just
asked a few weeks ago.  You can set up separate profiles linked to AD
user groups and present different portal configurations when they log in
based on group membership.  I can send you the same screen shots I sent
the other person if this is what you are trying to do.
