Well my issue is that the "%username's% Pictures" is created in a "My documents" folder that is created *in* the profile, so its not *inside* the redirected "My documents" (which is not *under* the profile) and therein lies the rub! Somehow the creation of this folder causes windows to forcefully create this non redirected copy of the folder.
