Firefox + AVG/Avast/AntiVir? Most of the trouble people come to me with is split between the crap that made it on their machine using IE, and all the crap they've thrown at it trying to get rid of the other crap. I just use the built in XP firewall with AVG Free and Firefox for home users. It works great. Of course using a consumer d-link-gear-sys broadband firewall at the edge is a given.

They are looking for a small device that does firewall functions, malware protection, scans for spyware and viruses. We use a bunch of small Fortinet devices here that do that (as well as content filtering) but I don't think Fortinet sells to the home user. Is there anything like this for home users out there?
