That depends on the retention you configure (amount of space) and how big the 
delta is when it snaps.
If nothing happened between the current snap and the last one, there really 
isn't any change...

Word of caution: VSS in windows is sketchy IMHO. If the server is busy, 
redirect it off to another spindle. Its buggy at best and is prone to deleting 
snaps if the volume gets busy for any reason and sometimes w/o warning...

Don't rely on it, yet use it as a convenience.

How much disk sprawl is involved with shadow copies?  In other words, how much 
disk space is used per copy?  Is it a 1:1 ratio, or is the copy smaller?
