I have been asked to determine what the network traffic is for a particular client/server app. Other than running some bandwidth tests, and then running them while running the application is about the best thing I came up with. Is there any particular software that could do something like that? A sniffer and such wouldn't tell me bandwidth used. We are deciding whether a terminal server (75k/user) is better than vpn for the particular app.
