When I do stuff like this, I do it in the login script. KIX is good for running
batch files (to install the program) then logging activity to a txt file
somewhere.
Might not be what you're looking for though so disclaimer: YMMV

Subject: GPO Software Installation and Logging

First I want to say hello again, I had to unsubscribe as we worked through a
migration from MS Exchange to Lotus Notes (ugh). It is done and I am now
lurking around the lists again.

I need to push out an invetory agent to all PCs in our domain. So I am using a
GPO to do this. Now I am being asked to log to a file that each computer has
successfully installed the software.

Is there a way to do this? I have been Googling for a while with no luck.

--Thanks!
