Thanks for the ideas. I ended up calling a batch file from the login script and out putted the command into a text file that is named after the PC. It's crude, but working.

KIX is good for running batch files (to install the program) then logging activity to a txt file somewhere. Might not be what you're looking for though so disclaimer: YMMV Jason -----Original Message----- From: ChrisB [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2008 3:22 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: GPO Software Installation and Logging First I want to say hello again, I had to unsubscribe as we worked through a migration from MS Exchange to Lotus Notes (ugh). It is done and I am now lurking around the lists again. I need to push out an invetory agent to all PCs in our domain. So I am using a GPO to do this. Now I am being asked to log to a file that each computer has successfully installed the software. Is there a way to do this? I have been Googling for a while with no luck. --Thanks! ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The pages accompanying this email transmission contain information from MJMC, Inc., which is confidential and/or privileged.
