I have a SCO openserver UNIX box. I know very little about UNIX. It is an HP proliant DL380 G4.
The software vendor whose software is installed on the server are telling me they believe the serial port is not working. It has an external USR 56k modem on the serial port, and has been working fine for 4 years. I swapped out the modem with 3 other idnetical modems and they all come up with the same error message in the software application: Yam: Error 32: No port selected So my question is.... How can I test the serial port on this UNIX server to verify that it is working correct? Thanks so much. -Dave ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
