Would a sanitized sysprep.inf help? (no product code, domain, password to join domain, etc)
http://www.optimumdata.net/phil/sysprep.inf Testing it is nice and all, but if you consider that most business class (Dell OptiPlex or the equivalent Lenovo or HP) and "professional-class" (Dell Precision or similar) desktops use a very, very small combination of storage controllers I don't think you have much to worry about - once it works on a Dell OptiPlex configured for AHCI and non-AHCI SATA, it'll work on almost anything with an Intel SATA chipset. I can use (and have used!) the exact same image on Dell, HP and Lenovo desktops and only have to worry about the audio drivers.
