I tested their Puredisk product in house and was unable to get it to backup a
Linux or Solaris host at all. Tech support was unacceptable. On the other hand,
my experience with Iron Mountain was also bad but we did not use them for
anything other than off site tape and document storage. They couldn't even do
that well so we moved to SafeSite for that service.

Dave

Subject: Symantec NetBackup vs Iron Mountain's Connected Backup/PC

Guys,

Do any of you have any experience with the two products? How do they compare
for laptop/desktop backups? Also how does Altiris Recovery Solution compare to
both products and are there any other products you can recommend over either
Symantec or Iron Mountain for PC Backups?

Just looking for information on this.

Thanks
H
