In that case Remote Operations Manager from Microsoft. Sweet combination of SCE
and SCOM built especially for multi-site/client monitoring from a single
console.

Sorry... I should have been more clear.

Looking at around 30-50 servers, at multiple sites/clients... not one system.

Thanks again for the ideas. You've all given me a good kick start to my
research.

How many servers?

Systems Center Essential is great for the under-30-server marketplace.

I really really like OpsMgr. It gets cheaper the more licenses you buy. :)

Solarwinds, ServersAlive, Whatsup Gold, nagios, Event Tracker, etc.

I'm looking for a solution that will allow us to monitor many servers from many
different sites. Looking for Event log triggers/alerts first and foremost, but
any other information that could be gathered would be great as well.

I'm not looking for free, but GFI Events Manager is more expensive per device
than my managers will allow me to spend. Open source would be awesome, but
management is willing to spend some money on a solution.

I appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

Jim
