+1 for CrossOver. 

 

IIRC they have a 15-day trial, so you can make sure that the programs
you need work. If VS 2005 would have run under it, I'd probably be using
my iMac exclusively right now. But yeah, fast and very responsive.
*cough* Even while playing Team Fortress 2. *cough*

If they do not have a need to use digital signatures, you can install
Outlook on a Mac without using Parallels or VMWare Fusion or even having
to boot into windows via boot camp.  Install CrossOver Mac from
www.codeweavers.com.  Don't have the hassle of running windows on top of
OS X or using boot camp to boot into windows.

 

My limited use so far has been rather impressive - quite quick and
responsive.  Waiting for them to get a version that will work with
Access >2000.  Once they have that, I'll pretty much be able to drop
using Parallels or boot camp.
