You get the first CAL free with the purchase of any Blackberry. There are other restrictions. It's great if you know you're never going to support more than 30 phones or need the attachment/application service. Otherwise go with BES. Converting to BES from Pro is a pain.
Also, although it says you can install on SBS, avoid if possible if you have one. That's another pain.
