I don't want to restart political debates, but....wow, a US president that realizes the Internet is a legitimate, primary source of getting information out (www.change.gov<http://www.change.gov>). I see it as a one of the fundamental differences between a 47yr old politician and a 72yr old politician. Bush didn't do that, dunno if McCain would have.
It will be interesting to see how the new administration handles issues like net neutrality and many other technology issues, "Net neutrality is, after all, the very first issue addressed in Obama's technology policy platform" (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-10082672-38.html?tag=mncol;txt) He did name someone from Google.org (http://www.google.org/about.html) to his transition team already.
