I personally thank you for bringing this technology issue to our
attention.  However, I would ask the moderators to stop this thread now,
before we all have to deal with political rhetoric for the rest of the
day.  It's already started before I could even get in the office.

I don't want to restart political debates, but....wow, a US president
that realizes the Internet is a legitimate, primary source of getting
information out (www.change.gov). I see it as a one of the fundamental
differences between a 47yr old politician and a 72yr old politician.
Bush didn't do that, dunno if McCain would have.

 

It will be interesting to see how the new administration handles issues
like net neutrality and many other technology issues, "Net neutrality
is, after all, the very first issue addressed in Obama's technology
policy platform"

He did name someone from Google.org (http://www.google.org/about.html)
to his transition team already.
