I looked at ExaGrid about a year and a half ago. I couldn't come up with valid justification for spending that kind of money on a disk backup system, when I could purchase disk from EqualLogic or NetApp for less cost and use it for many different purposes. TVK

We have not got the money in place but I still need to look at this as we are going to have to change our existing backup solution, it does not do VM's nor does it do 2008. Since we dropped support last year we are looking at this one to even get rid of tapes as well. I'm about fed up with tape drives, and we're in the market for some new servers. I'm contemplating ordering them without tape drives and using something like what ExaGrid is offering instead.
