I looked at ExaGrid about a year and a half ago. I couldn't come up with valid 
justification for spending that kind of money on a disk backup system, when I 
could purchase disk from EqualLogic or NetApp for less cost and use it for many 
different purposes.

How are you liking the ExaGrid system?  We have not got the money in place but 
I still need to look at this as we are going to have to change our existing 
backup solution, it does not do VM's nor does it do 2008.  Since we dropped 
support last year we are looking at this one to even get rid of tapes as well.

about fed up with tape drives, and we're in the market for some new
servers. I'm contemplating ordering them without tape drives and using
