Thanks, just wanted to inquire about this, wasn't sure if this was a scam or not. I've never been in the decision making position before and now that a few Girl Scouts brought me on board, I have significant input to the organization.

Anything. Your organization needs to assess the type of data they maintain and the risks of getting sued for losing that data through accident, negligence or attack. This is the work of a lawyer and your management. If you consult with the people selling it, then yes, they will of course tell you how important it is.
