Equalogic is a phenomenal product. Doesn't fit every need, but it's fast and flexible for most environments. Cost wise its very competitive as well.

The only change I have experienced is that when they were bought by Dell it was much more difficult to get part numbers and specs so that you could compare to other solutions. Part of the difficulty is that Equallogic was absorbed by Dell so there was a learning curve for all related employees during transition for both companies. ________________________________ From: Lumumba, Juma (ILRI-ICRAF) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 9:34 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Data Storage solutions Hi All, We are evaluating 3 manufacturer solutions for storage, NetApps FAS3140, EMC Clariion NS40 and SUN Storagetek 6140 through a tender process. However, one of one departments are planning to purchase a DELL EqualLogic PS Series solution for a new project that is about to be approved. Any experiences with this Dell solution?
