Perfect. I'm golden with the psexec command. Thanks.

Digging around it seems Local Users and Groups loves to puke if DNS
issues exist...

Now, I need to figure out why this user's MIDI hardware won't work
without admin rights!

Have a good weekend!

Use psexec to run "cmd" and do "net user %username% /add"

Otherwise odds are it's permissions..

Subject: Local Users and Groups... Remotely?

What services are needed to access Local Users and Groups via Computer
Management remotely?

I can see everything else, but there is a big fat ugly red X over Local
Users and Groups on this XP box.

I killed the firewall, RPC and remote registry are started...

Or, anyone know any command line goodness so I can psexec / add an admin
to the machine?

Tia, Sam
