Not so sure about that.
Maybe different the way circuits wired in different parts of the world but I
was downloading at 8 Meg which is that fastest my DSL line supports last
weekend whilst the washing machine, electric oven and microwave were running
with no issues.

And that was on 2 different ring mains, router is down stairs plugged into
the ground floor ring, and PC upstairs plugged into the upstairs ring, these
circuits go back to the main fuse box and the signal will have to pass
through 2 circuit breakers.

Never had a hiccup with homeplug,

Wireless on the other hand is getting more difficult with every house in the
street having wireless and only a limited number of channels, even with N we
have trouble getting a signal through a small 2 story house successfully all
the time.
