These are teachers, though, who regularly use PP in their lessons. They'd have 
to have the device pretty much all the time.

I saw some software online that claims to do something similar (for a fee).

But my goal isn't for them to get around the screen saver--which we've 
implemented for security (it locks their machine)--all the time. Just during PP 
presentations.

  I've heard of a little USB fob that identifies itself as a mouse and
essentially just "jiggles the mouse" occasional to keep idle timeouts
from firing.
