You need to consider the output rails, primarily.

Generally speaking I find that the older P4 power supplies work fine
with a dual-core machine. One of the awesome things about the newer
microarchitectures is they use less power for higher performance levels.

A new enough 300W is a little light but will probably be doable.

I think you should focus more on choosing the right motherboard - ASUS
isn't known for their server parts, and on top of that 99.999% of all
AMD motherboards are geared towards "enthusiasts" rather than business
use of some kind.
