I should have taken notes, but with a particularly set of utilities I
was using, I saw varying behavior based on the use of spaces on either
side.  I saw it as a flaw in the utilty itself, but there was nothing
I could do about it except try to mitigate ever encountering the issue
again in any circumstance.
