Should have mentioned...

I just checked in my metaedit (iis 5.1 on XP) and the setting is at
\\lm\smtpsvc\1\ipsecurity

Let me know if you want some code pointers for vbscript. I've got some
old ASP code that can read/write the value.

Thanks,

I believe that info is stored in the IIS Metabase. IIS6 uses an XML
file, older versions are binary and need metaedit to manipulate manually
or via script.

Hi,

When you set up Exchange to filter the allowed IP list for the SMTP
virtual server, where does it hold those entries?

I have a bunch of servers to lock down and its getting really tiresome
doing it manually on each one, it'd be dead handy to have a file or reg
entry to edit.
