FYI - I just asked the support team, and vReplicator will support ESXi in May :) Sweet! I am hoping to deploy a solution this summer.

Take a look @ this product as well if you are checking things out, Works in a similar manner, we use their 3.1 version right now to backup two ESX hosts to a remote DR site and then bring them back up for testing.
