I tend to like things the same way at home and the office as well right down
to the same KB/Mouse combo so I feel your pain..

Thanks. I'm getting close to being extinct as well J

They are prying my T40 from my grasp in favor of a D630. I still have my
work T43 & personal T42 so the new Dell is going to make things very
inconvenient. I have multiple locations set up both at home and in the
office where the TPs are interchangeable and now I'm going to have to
rethink the whole setup.

T4x No. That's an extinct form factor. But the T6x series ones do.

I had a T61 before this and I still use the same docks.

Martin- Do the older docks, say from the T4x series fit the T400?

Go grab yourself a Lenovo T400. I love this laptop. Love it.

I agree on the Software but I don't like the docking station much. I have
been having issues with it hanging on the docking station but it may just be
the docking station.

E6500 here too, very impressed. Solid as a rock. Not too found of the new

I just got my E6500, and I have to say so far I'm impressed. Its internal
components are all accessible from the bottom and the magnesium chassis
feels much stronger than the plastic ones.

This is my first time really getting my hands on a Dell Latitude E4500 since
Dell went away from the D series. (The ones we have sold in the last couple
months have been installed by my lakey.)

Is it me, or are these being made in the same factory as the Lenovo's? It
looks to me like they could use the same docking station, batteries and
other accessories. Is this by design and I totally missed that memo or
what?
