I'm not sure I understand the question here. When you recover deleted items, the items are recovered to the "Deleted Items" folder. You can then move them to wherever you want. Why do you need a redirection here?
But your problem seems to be that the items were originally in a PST file. In that case, server-side deleted item retention isn't going to help you. You need a backup of the PST file...
