I configured one for remote access (browser-based access to UNC shares
and RDP) and it works well. I don't have experience with the
NetExtender side of the product. Integrated fine with SecurID via
RADIUS. Their support runs the gamut, as you've probably gleaned from
this list.

As I've mentioned before, I do believe they have some issues in how the
company approaches security, but most of those can be mostly mitigated
by proper policy/procedures on your end.

Subject: Sonicwall SSL 2000 recon

I'm looking at the Sonicwall SSL 2000
http://www.sonicwall.com/us/products/510.html as a clientless VPN to
access remote desktop on our WinXP Pro desktops. I've heard a number of
things all over the board about Sonicwall as a company, but does anyone
have experience with this product in particular?

Thanks for any feedback,

Bill
