Another big problem we had with SEPM was IIS... problems with the site loading when there were other sites on the server. When working with Symantecs tech support they could see why it wasn't working on the server and just suggested uninstalling it and then re-installing on the same server. When that didn't help all they told me was to install it on another server. Told them that this wouldn't work with a remote site of ours since there was only one server and we weren't connected to that site via vpn or dedicated point-to-point T1.
