Process Monitor, Procmon Filemon and regmon the process from
sysinternals.com Create said GPO with the permissions changes
accordingly, and retest, when the application runs acceptable, you will
be file.

Also turn on auditing for registry and filesystem via Security template.

One of those LUA bugs eh?

Subject: Application requires local admin or power user?

I have this application that "requires" the user to be a local admin or
power user.
I have confirmed that it doesn't run properly if the user is not at
least a power user.
My question is... is there some way I can tell WHY this app requires
this level of permission?
And more specifically... how can I find out what I need to tweak to get
it to run as a regular user? Folder/file NTFS permissions or registry
entries, perhaps?

Thanks
