We're using Kyocera copiers which do much the same thing, but don't require
any special software. They scan to a shared folder. Currently we have it
going to a shared folder on a server, but it could go to multiple PCs just
as easily.

Sharp (the copier company) has a network scanning utility that allows you to
scan from the copier to your computer.

And the application is...?

I have this application that "requires" the user to be a local admin or
power user.
I have confirmed that it doesn't run properly if the user is not at least a
power user.
My question is. is there some way I can tell WHY this app requires this
level of permission?
And more specifically. how can I find out what I need to tweak to get it to
run as a regular user? Folder/file NTFS permissions or registry entries,
perhaps?

Thanks
