There is a one time additional provisioning cost.  That is not all
that cheap.  We did this a few years ago so I really don't remember
the cost but it was a few thousand.  Call Microsoft, they will be
happy to tell you.  The entire process takes a few weeks once you have
your external server up with the certificate.

They validate your certificate, dns, etc and then it works like magic.

The first fun is reclaiming your domain name space.  All the people
who signed up for MSN with their company email get there IM addresses
changed :)
